Welcome to Kamloops Target Sports Association. If you would like to join our membership, please read the information below.

If you are a former member and have not renewed in the last 2 years, you will need to join as a new member and complete the orientation again.

New Members

Complete the application below and book your orientation with Jim Bartlett at 250-374-6651 or email orientations@ktsa.ca with your contact information to make arrangements.

You must bring appropriate ear and eye protection to the orientation session as well as a copy of your membership payment receipt. Also, review and be prepared to discuss the KTSA Range Rules. You will receive your membership card(s) and an outdoor range key upon completion of the orientation. 

New members who join after September 1st and before October 31 will pay 50% of the current annual rate for the remainder of the year, plus the $10 orientation fee. 

After November 1st, new members who wish to join for the remainder of the current calendar year (at 50% of the annual rate plus the $10 orientation fee), must at the same time join and pay for the following year. After November 1st, new members may choose to complete orientation and join for the following membership year only.

Renewing Members

All renewals will now be done online with credit card payments.

If you are a current member, you will receive an invoice by email on December 1st to renew for the next year. Simply click on the link and pay your membership online.

You may also choose to securely store your credit card online, and we can automatically charge your membership renewal on the renewal date and you don’t have to worry about forgetting to renew.

Once your payment has been processed, you will be issued a new key to the range at the horse barn. 

If your membership has lapsed within the last 2 years, please contact Membership (membership@ktsa.ca) to have your profile reactivated and pay for your renewal online. Your re-orientation fee will be waived.

If you are wanting to upgrade your membership (ie. going from a single to family membership) please download the form below and follow the instructions on the form.

FAQs

Please go to the bottom of the page and download the Membership Application Form for the remainder of 2022. Once your application has been reviewed, you will need to book the KTSA’s Orientation Session.

Complete this application and bring it along with your membership AND orientation fee (cash or cheque) to your orientation session. The orientation fee is not charged per person for family memberships, it’s a per application fee.

The Indoor Range is open as per schedule. Access to the outdoor range is unsupervised with personal Key. Open from dawn til dusk.

Night shooting generally not allowed but the club organizes occasionally night shoots which will be announced on the website, via email and social media.

Once you have filled out your application, paid and received your confirmation email, please contact our Orientation Officer, Jim Bartlett, at 250-374-6651 or email orientations@ktsa.ca with your contact information to make arrangements for your Orientation Session.

He will go through our safety requirements and introduce you to the various ranges available to you at the KTSA. After completing the orientation, the Officer will give you a key to the main gate.

You must read and understand our Range Rules and Safety Policy.

No you don’t need a PAL to join the club (eg. Archery Only Shooters), but to legally own a firearm in Canada you must be federally licensed.

If you do have a PAL, you must enter the number into the application form when signing up.

A guest can visit the range once without becoming a member.

Yes. There are presently 2 sign-in locations, one at the short range and one at the sign-in shed at the gate at the lower ranges.
