Junior Program
We have a very active Junior program. Girls and Boys 11 to 18 years of age participate with .22 rifles in prone, kneeling, and standing positions. We teach Juniors safe handling of firearms, range safety and etiquette, and shooting fundamentals. We coach the Juniors to strengthen and refine skills, fundamentals, safety and encourage the love of the sport.
We encourage 3 disciplines in the Junior program: Sporting Rifle, Air Rifle, and Match Rifle. Each Junior shooter has the chance to Qualify for the BC Summer Games Zone Team and is encouraged to enter the BC Small-bore Rifle Championships. Our Juniors have been extremely successful at these matches. Shooting in the winters is at our Indoor Range.
