- Fall Session (September–December)
- Spring Session (January–May)
Our Juniors shoot single-shot .22LR target rifles from the prone position on firing mats at paper targets set at 20 yards. The program typically accommodates up to 12 youth participants to ensure safe, quality instruction.
Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing Friday evening junior sessions
- Coordinating and managing youth registration
- Maintaining safe range operations
- Supervising use of junior rifles and ammunition
- Managing punch card system (7 punches for $20; 2 punches per Friday)
Requirements:
- Valid PAL (Possession and Acquisition Licence)
- Completion of the KTSA RO Course
- Criminal Record Check
The Director will have access to junior rifles, ammunition lockers, and related equipment. Training and support will be provided to ensure a smooth transition.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support youth involvement in the shooting sports and help develop safe, responsible future shooters.
